Get to know the Perito Moreno Glacier differently in your little kayak, and you will get a better perspective of its extraordinary size, roar and movement.

You will enjoy the impressive views of Los Glaciares National Park and the sounds of the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier.

Our experienced guides will develop the excursion with the highest safety standards and teach you to safely navigate the fantastic glacial waters.

This adventure is developed with the best safety standards so that it can be done by people from 14 years old. A responsible adult must accompany children aged 14 to 18.

This adventure takes place every day from October 1 to April 30.

KAYAKING HALF DAY – LAGO ARGENTINO, LOS GLACIARES NATIONAL PARK

The activity lasts approximately four hours.

The experience starts at 10:00 am at Perito Moreno Kayak Experience’s Meeting Point, located close to the main parking area of Los Glaciares National Park. Here, our team will greet you and brief you about the experience. In addition, you will receive a Gore-Tex dry suit, thermal suit, boots, gloves and life jacket.

After selecting your gear and getting ready, we will walk to the waterside for a safety briefing and warm-up. 

Once prepared and informed (at 11:15 am approx.), we set off, with our kayaks, towards Los Témpanos beach. We will enjoy an hour and a half paddling on Lago Argentino on the north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier. We will stay in front of it as long as possible. We will stop to take pictures and learn more fun facts about this fascinating area of Patagonia.

You can enjoy hot drinks and snacks upon returning to our base (at 12:45 pm approx.). End of the services.

Technical Gear

We will provide the necessary technical equipment so that you can enjoy your kayaking adventure in complete safety.

We will provide double kayak (more stable) with paddles and dry bag, dry suit with Gore-Tex – neck and wrists made of latex, life Jacket, spray skirt, thermal suit and kayak boots.

Take note that clients use double kayaks so that they will be grouped in pairs.

Snacks & Hot Drinks

Once we return to our base, we provide you with hot drinks and snacks to comfort your body after the activity. You will be able to share the experiences of this day with the other travelers.

Gear Check And Security Briefing

A thorough orientation will take place at 10:00 am at Perito Moreno Kayak Experience’s Meeting Point.

Our staff will discuss all security details of the activity with time for questions and answers. 

After that, you will be provided with the appropriate gear.

What’s not included

The following items are not included in this program:

Transportation from El Calafate to Los Glaciares National Park.
Entrance fee to Los Glaciares National Park (Each traveler is required to bring the ticket with him).
Personal gear.
