Cerro Tronador Climbing

Cerro Tronador (3,554m) is an iconic peak and the highest mountain in the Argentinian region of the Lakes. It is unique because of its great mass of snow and ice and easy accessibility (requiring only one day of hiking to the base). This climbing offers the ideal introduction to mountaineering and is often considered Patagonia’s best glacier training venue.
